The 2012 China Domestic Travel Mart opening ceremony was held in Qingdao International Expo Centre on April 13, organized by China National Tourism Administration and Shandong Provincial People’s Government. During the CDTM period, 4 pavilions in the Expo Centre welcomed more than 2200 companies and organizations hailing from 31 provinces (including Shandong province), cities, autonomous regions and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The participants from Shandong province accounted for more than one-third of the visitors. Around 400 scenic spots, hotels, travel agencies and airlines in Qingdao city took part in this grand show. 100,000 visitors were expected for this travel exhibition.
